Below are some of the aspects of the watch that made me recommend the way I did.
This automatic chronograph is a smaller version of the iconic Speedmaster Moonwatch but with added feature of an automatic movement. Generally, nicknamed "Reduce" due to the size comparison to its more illustrious brother.
The watch uses the Omega 3220 as a base movement with a Dubois-Debrois chronograph module mounted on top. This actually complicates the servicing of such movements and there are a lot of documented servicing experience that shows the difficulties faced by independent watch-smiths in maintaining it.
If given the option, I would recommend that you get the modern Professional version that comes with sapphire crystal. It is wider and hence easier to see and looks better on the wrist.
Final Thoughts
Overall, the reduce is a stop-gap measure that was useful when it was first launched. However, I would prefer the wider Professional version with an in-house automatic chronograph movement.
